Bitcoin rose above $30000 for the first time in the new year

Source: Sina Finance’s bitcoin, the world’s largest cryptocurrency, rose above $30000 for the first time just weeks after it reached another important milestone. Bitcoin rose nearly 6% to close to $31000 on Saturday, before falling back to about $30800 at 1:15 p.m. London time. Bitcoin rose nearly 50% in December and topped $20000 for the first time. Scott minerd, chief investment officer of Guggenheim investments, said in an interview with Mr. Bloomberg on December 16 that the scarcity of bitcoin and the Fed’s “massive printing of money” mean that bitcoin will eventually climb to about $400000.
