In order to solve the MemPool problem, bitcoin core default fee will be increased to 5000 Cong relay
Bitcoin network there is an ongoing problem, namely low value, low transaction costs of the transaction, with the memory buffer of each bitcoin node, but did not receive a confirmation of the miners. The memory buffer may be overloaded, nature is filled with garbage trading. Through the “MemPool limit” way to fix this problem, is currently in development, one of the highest priority items, related work has been carried out for several months.
Before the completion of the work (are expected in the next month, bottom) we have the solution to an ugly now, is the default relay cost BitcoinCore (relayfee), increased to 5000 Cong, and suggested that the existing node follows a similar policy. PR6793 recent merger plan to do this work. Is expected in the next 1-2 days, will be released this bug repair.
Bitcoin core nodes existing, may use the minimum cost of relay TX (minrelaytxfee) = 0.00005, increase the costs of default.

Reddit.com users bits-of-change reply: 0.00005BTC will eliminate some common wallet transactions, isn’t it? I just glanced at me recently used Airbitz and Copay transactions, the differences are great, but often is as low as 0.000025BTC. this is why I put my relay in 0.00002BTC.
Eragmus I think the minimum fee should be fee/1000 bytes relay. I feel confused, this term is somewhat misleading.
Minrelaytxfee = 0.00005BTC, then in a TX, a x byte relayed by the node cost, will be greater than 0.00005/ (1/0.x), equal to 0.00005*0.xBTC (or 5000*0.x Cong).
