According to dailyhodl news, NASDAQ has confirmed that it will be listed on the bitcoin futures. According to Joseph Christinat, vice president of NASDAQ communications, bitcoin futures should be launched in the first half of 2019 and are now waiting for approval from CFTC. This will open the door for various types of investors to invest in bitcoin, including financial institutions, hedge funds, and even ordinary retail investors with brokerage accounts.
In addition to bitcoin futures, the world’s first ETP has recently been launched on the Swiss Exchange. The analysis said that although the prices of bitcoin and other encrypted currencies have declined recently, the industry itself continues to grow as new companies compare special currency and block chain technology.
