Paxful plans to build 100 schools in Africa using Bitcoin

Paxful CEO Ray Youssef said in an interview:n
n”We just dug in a few wells in Rwanda and built a kindergarten, and we plan to build 100 schools in Africa, all using bitcoin.”n
nTo explain this motivation, he added:n
n”We can really change people’s everyday lives and help the community, and we’ve found the best partners to work with a non-government organization called ZamZam Water to make sure all the people we help get the money.”n
nThe center includes three classrooms and four toilets, a drinking water system and a 15,000-liter water tank and catchment system. A total of 7,500 children aged 3-6 will benefit from this program.n
As for the future goal, Youssef said:n
n”This is just the beginning, and we have plans to build three more wells and two schools, and our goal is to do so when needed, but the more we get help, the faster we move forward.”n
nRwanda is also trying to recover from the tragic events of the early 1990s, and in many areas there is a lack of infrastructure, water, electricity and education resources. One such area is Bugesera, where a new kindergarten is built by Paxful in Kasebigege village.n
The move also includes building more than 20 community gardens to develop sustainable agriculture.n
